Tax tokens of Utah, USA
Utah tax tokens (as in other US states) were issued in the 1930s and 1940s as a way to pay fractional sales tax on small purchases. They were designed to pay taxes of less than a cent, since paying a full cent would be cheating the buyer.

Utah Tax tokens value
Utah issued aluminum and plastic tax tokens.
Aluminum tokens have several not very different varieties, but this does not
affect the price, they all cost less than a dollar.
Plastic tokens were issued in three colors, but, as in other states, their
shades could vary greatly. This practically does not affect the price. Tokens of
rarer shades may cost a little more. Or they may not. :)
